Summer called and said it would
be here this week. Not sure how long it will be staying in our area,
but hopes we all enjoy the visit.
I've been going out into the
woods in vain looking for mushrooms. I get a nice hike, good
exercise, but no chanterelles as of yet. I'm hoping that a couple of
warm days will make them pop up and we can have some for you next
week.
In the meantime we will do
without and have some great specials anyhow.
This week's "Pick of the
Market" specials:
Small Plates:
Twice Cooked Spinach Souffle
with Sauteed Mushrooms and Basil Mornay Sauce
Fennel and Sun Dried Tomato
Stuffed Veal Breast Tonnato
Entree Portions:
Penne with Smoked Chicken,
Southwestern Veggies and Cilantro-Lime Alfredo
Sauteed Haddock with Warm Bacon
Vinaigrette, Sauteed Spinach and Beet Risotto
Grilled Bay Leaf marinated
Yellowfin Tuna with Savory Bread Pudding, Scallion Tomato Sauce and Aioli
We look forward to seeing you
this week at The Three Stallion Inn.

Vermont"

The 138th Tunbridge World's Fair
The Tunbridge
World's Fair celebrates the Garden Harvest, and the ever competitive
exhibits in Dodge-Gilman with a wide variety of vegetables and fruits from
local Vermont gardens. This is a display created entirely by enthusiastic
gardeners. Livestock shows, Antique Hill, amusements and
entertainment fill the four days of the fair. Rides and games of
chance along the midway are popular as are the performances, the tractor
pull, and the demolition derby. A great selection of food vendors,
sulky races and an ongoing horse show complete the fair experience.
The Fair is located at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds on Route 110 in
